The Clementines at Clay Center: 10.04.08

Actually, we were at the BACK of the Clay Center, in the wonderful Walker Theater located at the back of the behemoth arts and culture palace in West Virginia’s state capital of Charleston. The Clementines were the opening act for spirited troubadour Johnsmith (no spaces, pls). The lot of us were kicking off the new Woody Hawley singer-songwriter series for 2008-09 at the Clay. There was a good crowd of nearly 100 folks, with the best sound of our Clementonian existence, mixed by “Mountain Stage” master soundman, Paul Flaherty.
